Professional Insurance Agents in the last 6 months have been very busy making new friends in Europe, and have signed deals with Dorens en De Waal, the dutch broker in Amsterdam and Golinucci, the Italian broker based in Cesena, where their unique Online Quote and Buy facility offering financial lines with products such as Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers Liability, Public Liability and other Commercial insurances are due to be launched on the 17 November this month.
Despite the debt crisis in Europe, Hearsey, the newly elected Chairman of Professional Insurance Agents is delighted to be able to be working with professional partners in Europe, both of these brokers concerned will almost certainly be the first companies in their countries and possibly in Europe to launch with a credible Multi Online Quote and Buy software facility, with companies such has HCC, Chartis, CNA, Torus, Hienfeld and Dual, all showing expressed interest in offering products and services via this distribution channel, and in particular both brokers and insurers are happy to deal in the Euro zone despite the current debt crises.
John Merideth CEO of Professional Insurance Agents, also made comment that the system was more than capable of dealing in any currency around the world and can collect premiums and issue documentation in each specific countries requirements, this would include translations where necessary. The focus at the present time will be based on financial lines, Professional Indemnity Insurance, Directors & Officers Insurance and supplementary products such as Public Liability and Office cover.
Merideth also pointed out that with the growing use of the internet, Professional Insurance Agents Ltd was already operating in Ireland, Malta The Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar and also has plans to offer their Professional Indemnity Insurance products in Canada and the USA.
